Currency Exchange

You can perform the following types of currency exchange transactions at «Bank of Georgia»:

• Currency exchange at the bank teller;
• Non-cash currency exchange at the customer’s order using the rate (USD to GEL, only) set by exchange (Tbilisi Interbank Currency Exchange);
• Non-cash currency exchange at the order of the customer using the bank (commercial) rate.

Presently, «Bank of Georgia» performs exchange transactions for ten different currencies:

• USA Dollar (USD), EUR, Great Britain Pound (GBP), Swiss Frank (CHF), Russian Ruble (RUR), Turkish Lira (TRY), Ukrainian Grivna (UAH), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Azeri Manat (AZN), and Armenian Dram (AMD).

You can also conduct cash and non-cash exchange transactions for 20 more additional currencies:

• Kazakhstan Tenge ( KZT), Swedish Krona (SEK), Norwegian Krona (NOK), Danish Krona (DKK), Australian Dollar (AUD), Japanese Yen (JPY), United Arab Emirates (AED), Israel Shekel (ILS), Czech Krona (CZK), Polish Zloty (PLN), Bulgarian Levi (BGN), Chinese Yuan (CNY), Latvian Lat (LVL), Lithuanian Lit (LTL), Estonian Krona (EEK), Moldavian Lei (MDL), New-Zealand Dollar (NZD), Indian Rup (INR), Belorussian ruble (BYR), Kuwait Dinar (KWD).

Service centers:

• in Tbilisi - 3 Pushkini Street, Tbilisi international airport, the Court yard Marriott Hotel; in Kutaisi – 17 Tsminda Nino Street; in Batumi – 35 Era Street, the Hotel Intourist Palace; in Poti – 30 David Agmashenebeli Street.

Exchange transactions for other currencies shall be possible based on preliminary agreement with the bank, depending on the type and amount of the currency.
